Schnabel, in partnership with the ADSC, is proud to announce the recipient of the 2022 Mark Camire Award. Congratulations to Chris Peck from our Mid-Atlantic Region!
The Mark Camire Award was created as a memorial to a longstanding Schnabel employee who lost his life in a construction accident. Every year, it is presented to a Schnabel employee that displays high moral character, is hardworking, and has a dedication and passion for their craft. Chris demonstrated these attributes and surpassed expectations.
Chris Peck has been with Schnabel since 2003 and has proven over and over (again) that he can perform at the highest level in many different capacities, which he demonstrated working as a union pile driver at the start of his employment to now as an A-Foreman for large complex projects.
Some of the positive traits that Chris has demonstrated to his supervisors and co-workers throughout the years include a team-first mentality, meticulous attention to detail, ability to develop relationships, adaptability, high-level communication, and big-picture thinking. Furthermore, Chris is certified in multiple areas such as emotional intelligence, leadership skills, and welding.
Chris was nominated for the 2022 Mark Camire Award by his supervisors and co-workers due to his high character, sense of teamwork, and focus on safety.
A $2,500 educational scholarship will be awarded to Chris to further his safety knowledge along with an engraved plaque and other gifts.
Congratulations, Chris!
