Schnabel, in partnership with the ADSC, is proud to announce the recipient of the 2021 Mark Camire Award. Congratulations to Zenaido Hernandez from our Southeast Region!
The Mark Camire Award was created as a memorial to a longstanding Schnabel employee who lost his life in a construction accident. Every year, it is presented to a Schnabel employee that displays high moral character, is hardworking, and has a dedication and passion for their craft. Zenaido met and exceeded those expectations.
Zenaido has been working for Schnabel’s Southeast Region for over 21 years and made a name for himself as an all-around Skilled Laborer with extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of soil nailing, layout, formwork erection, reinforced steel installation, shotcrete and underpinning. He has earned certifications in underpinning, aerial lift, forklift operating, and is an ACI-certified nozzleman.
Zenaido was nominated for the Mark Camire Award for the high level of dedication, passion and effort that he puts into his work every day and his determination to always get the job done safely and efficiently.
An educational scholarship will be awarded to Zenaido to further his excavation and trenching safety knowledge along with an engraved plaque and other gifts.
Congratulations, Zenaido!
